We sell a wide variety of products to both businesses and consumers. In our range, we have Moissanite Necklaces, Earrings, Rings, Bracelets and Loose Stones.

Moissanite imports was created after the founders were bored of the cheap-looking cubic zirconia jewellery that was on the market. They were wanted to purchase jewellery that was cheap but looked exactly like a real diamond because they could not afford them. But after some digging around they stumbled upon moissanite also known as ‘stardust’ and the ‘space diamond’, they realized they were onto something.

Moissanite was discovered over 120 years ago when French Scientist Henri Moissan was inspecting a meteorite and he found what he believed was a diamond but upon investigating it further. He found a piece of Silicon Carbide that he named Moissioante which is more rarer than a diamond. Due to the rarity, it has to be grown in a controlled laboratory environment which allows the price to be significantly lower. This allows the stone to be highly ethical and conflict free than a diamond because its origin can be traced back.

After doing some research they discovered that Moissanite reflects more light and sparkles more than diamonds because of the unique pattern that they have. The stone has ranked 9.25 on the Mohs scale of hardness which means that it has excellent durability capabilities and is also highly resistant to fire. A combination of these factors motivated the founders of Moissanite imports to bring a stone that is very difficult to tell apart from a real diamond to the hands of everyday consumers without sacrificing quality.
